Hue Jackson Says He Doesn’t Plan on Hiring Browns Offensive Coordinator

New Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson doesn't want to delegate much responsibility in his new role.
The former Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator, whom the Browns hired to replace Mike Pettine on Wednesday, told Solomon Wilcots and Shannon Sharpe on Sirius XM NFL radio on Friday that he doesn't plan to hire an offensive coordinator and instead intends to be the play-caller (via Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com).
"Right now in my mind, I don't really plan on having an offensive coordinator, because I want to reserve that right to call plays," he said. "That's something that's gotten me this job, so it's something that you're an expert at. You want to continue to work at that and keep that in your pocket so you can use it to help your team."
