In Chad We Trust: Henne For Your Thoughts?

When considering the situation in which Chad Henne has found himself with the Dolphins, it's difficult not to be reminded of Atlas; the Titan of Greek and Roman Mythology upon whose shoulders rested the weight of the entire world.

The hopes and dreams of Dolphins fans everywhere are dependent upon the young quarterback's ability to step up to the plate, and be the kind of leader who will rise to every occasion; one who will surmount every obstacle that stands between the Miami Dolphins and the Lombardi trophy. 

Henne's 7-6 record in 2009 raised a lot of hopes for Miami, and a few questions as well. He was thrust into the mix, perhaps thinking that he would spend one or two more years studying veteran Chad Pennington from the sidelines, and was forced to perform.

Most people who took into account the circumstances out of which he achieved it, would say that a .500+ record for the year was quite an accomplishment, and yet it did not suffice.  ...
