Indianapolis Colts: Manning's Colts Fall To New York Jets In AFC Wild Card Game
Peyton Manning couldn't carry the Colts to a win against the New York Jets tonight, as the ball was actually kept from his hands a majority of the time.
Rex Ryan called today's matchup against the Indianpolis Colts "personal" and he emphasized how much he wanted to beat Peyton Manning in this game.
Tonight, the Jets coach finally did that as his team managed to come away with a big win, 17-16.
Ryan managed to find success by keeping the ball away from Peyton Manning.  Ryan's gameplan today was to eat up the clock by running the football and that's exactly what he did in the second half.
One of the game's most impressive numbers was a scoring drive that lasted for nearly 10 minutes.  During that play, the Jets managed to eat up the clock and keep the Colts offense restless on the sidelines.
New York managed to get a pair of touchdown runs from LaDainian Tomlinson....
