Jake Delhomme: Another Veteran Quarterback Trying To Revive His Career

Take a look at this photo, you may notice the man standing beside Delhomme. His name is Favre. Brett Favre. Delhomme is joining the list of veteran quarterbacks who has managed to revive their careers with another team. The example I will use is Brett Favre, the poster boy for an aging veteran quarterback revival of successful QB play.

Brett Favre played for the Green Bay Packers for most of his career. His career in Green Bay is the stuff of legend. Favre has set many records in Green Bay and in NFL history books, and most of his records will be not be broken for a long time. The last year Favre played in Green Bay he had passer rating of 95.7 for 28 touchdowns, and 13 Interceptions.
He retired supposedly after the 2007 season, and the Green Bay Packers were ready to move on...or so thought we thought. Favre wasn't really ready to deal with retirement, and wanted to come back to play for the Packers, but the Packers said that they were moving on with Rodgers.
