Jalen Ramsey, Jaguars Agree to Contract: Latest Details, Comments and Reaction

The Jacksonville Jaguars reached an agreement with the 2016 NFL draft's No. 5 overall pick, Jalen Ramsey, on Sunday. 
Although the Jaguars did not reveal details of the agreement, ESPN's Michael DiRocco reported, "The four-year deal is worth $23.3 million with a $15.1 million signing bonus."
Ramsey had a magnificent three-year tenure at Florida State, where he showed uncommon versatility and succeeded wherever he lined up. He started at free safety and cornerback as a true freshman, at a linebacker-safety hybrid position as a sophomore and was a pure corner during his junior campaign, per CBSSports.com's Rob Rang.
It was therefore little surprise Ramsey was regarded among the elite players in the 2016 class. One could even argue Jacksonville was fortunate to land Ramsey at fifth overall, as two teams ahead of the Jaguars—the San Diego Chargers and Dallas Cowboys—had needs to justify acquiring him.
