Jared Cook Agrees to Terms with St. Louis Rams on 5-Year Deal

The St. Louis Rams have taken a significant step toward improving their offense by bringing in free-agent tight end Jared Cook.
The St. Louis Rams reported their signing via Twitter: 
#Rams have agreed to terms with TE Jared Cook on a five-year contract.
— St. Louis Rams (@STLouisRams) March 12, 2013 This marks an ugly end to Cook’s career with the Tennessee Titans and a chance to start fresh in St. Louis. 
The 25-year-old was a third-round draft pick in 2009 and showed the ability to be a dynamic receiving threat. At 6’5” and 248 pounds, he has the size to dominate smaller players, but he also has the athleticism to stretch defenses. 
As the tight end position continues to evolve in today's pass-oriented NFL, that combination is a valuable commodity.
