Jason Garrett Rumors: Latest Buzz, Speculation Surrounding Future with Cowboys

After leading the Dallas Cowboys to a 12-4 record, an NFC East title and a trip to the divisional round of the NFL playoffs, head coach Jason Garrett and the team have worked out a new contract to keep him in Dallas for the foreseeable future.
Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reported more on that front Tuesday, with ESPN's Todd Archer later confirming the move:
Nick Eatman of DallasCowboys.com reports financial details of the contract.
"According to multiple reports both inside and outside of Valley Ranch, Garrett is very close to signing a five-year, $30 million contract to remain the head coach of America's Team," Eatman writes. "The announcement could come as early as Tuesday evening."
Mike Fisher of Fox Sports shared the financial details:
Garrett has reiterated that he is keen to remain with the team, telling reporters on Tuesday, "Absolutely, I want to be here," per Kevin Patra of NFL.com.
