Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jeff Janis suffered a fractured hand during Wednesday's practice that has put him on the shelf, according to ESPN.com's Rob Demovsky. It is uncertain when he will return to action.

Janis enters his third season in the league in 2016 with a mere four catches for 95 yards in regular-season play, but he did flash his potential during Green Bay's divisional-round loss to the Arizona Cardinals last season.
