Jet Blues: New York Jets Fall To New York Giants In Preseason Opener

"Let's come back hungrier than ever," stated New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan shortly after falling thirty minutes shy of a Super Bowl appearance.
"Let's go take this thing. Let's try to get a home game. Let's play this game in front of our fans and our stadium, the New Jets Stadium. That is going to be the name of it when we play in it. I can't wait. We get our stadium and we are not the visitors in our stadium. This is our stadium. We are the biggest show in town and that's what it's going to be."
Umm, not quite...
The Jets opened their preseason and New Meadowlands Stadium on Monday night with Super Bowl aspirations and Broadway dreams, only to see their mighty star fall back to earth against the rival New York Giants by a score of 31-16. 
The Jets were the home team but the Giants showed just how much work their co-tenant still needs to do in order to take New York and the rest of the NFL by storm.
