Jet Faithful Apprehensive As Draft Looms Huge For Gang Green In 2010

Anthony Davis. Lam Jones. Mike Haight. Roger Vick. Jeff Lageman. Browning Nagle. Marvin Jones. Mike Nugent. Blair Thomas. Johnny Mitchell. Kyle Brady.
Ouch.

It still stings just to hear it.
With the exception of Hall of Famers John Riggins (Kansas) and Joe Namath (Alabama) with first round picks, the choices made in the NFL/AFL Drafts by Gang Green have resulted in over five decades of mediocrity and frustration for most Jet fans.
Granted, the new regime under Woody Johnson and Mike Tannebaum has posted it's best decade ever at 80-80 with 5 playoff appearances since 2000, but the franchise  has only won more than 10 games in a single season just three times (1968, 1985 & 1998) in 50 seasons!
At 340-408-8, the New York Titans/Jets have just a .449 winning percentage after 50 years of playing football at the Polo Grounds, Shea Stadium and the Meadowlands.
