When a side-by-side analysis is made of the 11-5 New York Jets versus the 10-6 Indianapolis Colts, most reasonable people would agree that from top to bottom, the New York Jets are the overall better team.
But when those same people are asked who has the best quarterback and what position for the most part dictates the terms of any playoff game, Peyton Manning is still head and shoulders above Mark Sanchez in every way despite having a down season of sorts.
So who do you choose?
The better team or the better quarterback?
That's what has NFL insiders and the media split on who will prevail tomorrow evening as the New York Jets travel to Indianapolis in a rematch of last year's AFC Championship.
When it comes to special teams, the Jets have the obvious edge with impact players like Brad Smith who can take it to the house on the drop of a dime.
