Latest on Philbin's Coaching Status Wednesday, Jan. 13 According to Andrew Abramson of the Palm Beach Post, the Indianapolis Colts reportedly reached out to Philbin in relation to their offensive line coach vacancy.
After starting 1-3 this season and going 24-28 in parts of four campaigns as head coach of the Miami Dolphins, Philbin was fired and replaced on an interim basis by Dan Campbell.
While taking an offensive line coach job would certainly be a significant step down for the Springfield, Massachusetts, native, he does have experience in that role at the NFL level.
