John Abraham Wanted on Battery Charge: Latest Details, Comments and Reaction

Former prolific NFL pass-rusher John Abraham has been charged with misdemeanor battery after allegedly bloodying the nose of a business associate February 28.
Steve Visser of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution indicated the alleged incident took place at the Pink Pony strip club. Video of the alleged attack by Abraham was only recently obtained by police in Brookhaven, Georgia, according to officer Carlos Nino.
Vladmir Ako, a partner in a beverage business with Abraham, claimed he tried to clear the air after the two had a dispute over finances but instead was allegedly punched five times in the face.
"Ako states that he never threatened Abraham nor did he ever touch Abraham; not even in self-defense," said the police report.
To avert potential bad publicity for the business, Ako opted not to report the alleged altercation to police until 12 hours after it occurred. Some who worked for the club indicated the two had engaged in a confrontation.
