Johnny Knox: Chicago Bears 2010 Player Analysis

I really like Johnny.
He's probably one of my favorite Chicago Bears right now. One of only two Bears to make the 2010 Pro Bowl, this fifth round draft steal is prone to have a great 2010 Season.
 
As a Return Man
The next Devin Hester? Possibly.
Knox returned 32 for 927 yards, including a 102-yard touchdown return against the Detroit Lions. He averaged 29 yards per return, and was named to the 2010 Pro Bowl, where he returned four kicks for 103 yards.
He has exceptional speed, and great potential. However, he oftentimes runs sideways when making returns. That usually results in short, five to ten yard returns—which definitely do not help the team. If the special teams coordinator focuses on this, Knox will be a near-flawless return man.
 
As a Wide Receiver
Knox was a steal in the 2009 NFL Draft. He has the ability to make fantastic catches in crucial situations and rarely drops passes that he should catch.
