Johnny Manziel Injury: Updates on Browns Star’s Elbow and Return

Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel was a limited participant in Tuesday's practice. According to ESPN's Pat McManamon, Manziel threw passes with his left hand and wore a sleeve on his right arm while nursing a sore elbow.

Manziel Expected to Play vs. Redskins Despite Soreness Tuesday, Aug. 11 McManamon reported Manziel should be set to go when the Browns begin their preseason against Washington on Thursday despite dealing with some wear and tear.
Browns head coach Mike Pettine added, per Steve Doerschuk of CantonRep.com, that the only thing Manziel lost was a day of reps. 
Marc Sessler of NFL.com reiterated from Browns quarterbacks coach Kevin O'Connell that Manziel is expected to be ready for Thursday's game.
A hamstring injury Manziel suffered in his second start as a rookie led to his being late for treatment on it before the 2014 regular-season finale, further adding to the failures of his rookie year.
