Joseph Randle Pleads Not Guilty to Felony Charges: Latest Details and Comments

Former Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle pleaded not guilty to nine felony charges Friday. 
Per Amy Renee Leiker of the Wichita Eagle, Randle pleaded not guilty to a "criminal threat charge and to seven felony charges accusing him of backing into three people with his car and kicking in the door of a Wichita home during a party in February."
The 24-year-old also pleaded not guilty to one count of interfering with law enforcement, per Leiker, which stems from an incident in March.  
By pleading not guilty, Randle is now scheduled to stand trial in Kansas starting on Sept. 19.
Randle has had his share of legal issues over the last year. Per ESPN.com, in July 2016, when he was already in prison for separate charges, he threatened to kill a deputy officer after not being allowed to make a phone call.
