Josh McDaniels Out As Head Coach

After starting his career 6-0 with the Denver Broncos, head coach Josh McDaniels then lost 17 of his last 20 games, and today owner Pat Bolwen relieved McDaniels of his coaching duties.
The move comes as a surprise, not because McDaniels is a good coach, but because last week Bowlen told the media that McDaniels would coach the Broncos in 2011.
On top of that, the Broncos will now be paying three different coaches in 2011 after losing both Mike Shanahan and defensive coordinator Mike Nolan.
This now makes McDaniels the third coach fired so far this season following in the steps of Wade Phillips (Dallas) and Brad Childress (Vikings).
It isn’t too surprising considering the fact that McDaniels was recently fined $50,000 because a videographer on his staff recorded a walkthrough of the 49ers football team.
McDaniels was on very thin ice following that incident and the recent loss to the Chiefs on Sunday probably didn’t help....
