Joshua Cribbs Signs on the Line That is Dotted for Cleveland Browns

Alec Baldwin delivered, perhaps, one of the single most memorable performances in the history of cinema with his one-scene appearance in the movie “Glengary Glen Ross.”
 
Right now, Cleveland Browns team president Mike Holmgren and general manager Tom Heckert have to be getting themselves that well-earned cup of coffee because they closed this deal.
 
Joshua Cribbs signed a three-year, $20 million contract that replaces his old contract. The deal was signed Thursday afternoon.
 
According to J.R. Rickert, Cribbs’ agent, the deal includes $7.5 million in guaranteed money, and the escalators on the contract are all very “reachable.”
 
This contract also makes Cribbs the highest paid special teams player in the league, ahead of Devin Hester, if he hits all his incentives.
 
Holmgren promised to get a deal done with Cribbs during his first appearance with the media in January. Despite...
