Kansas City Chiefs: Believe It or Not, Matt Cassel Is the QB of the Future

It has become tiresome, tedious and repetitious.  Matt Cassel is the Kansas City Chiefs whipping boy for everything that is wrong with this first place team.
I'll be the first to admit that Cassel has not torn up the league.  However, the fans and media seem to think he is suppose to do that now.
Let's examine the slippery slope arguments.
The first is that he should play up to his contract.
Really?! How does how much his contract is worth affect his play?
This is the most ridiculous of all arguments.  Should he have said no?  Is it his fault they gave him a lot of money.  Would you turn it down?  If you say yes, you're a liar.  He should perform if he makes the minimum, so drop it.
The second argument is that he has no arm strength.  If you think this, you're watching a different quarterback than I am.  Chad Pennington, Rich Gannon, Phil Simms and even Len Dawson didn't have arm strength.
