Kansas City Chiefs Name John Dorsey as New General Manager

The Kansas City Chiefs' search to replace Scott Pioli has ended, as ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the club has agreed to terms with John Dorsey to become the team's new general manager.
As expected, John Dorsey has agreed to become Chiefs GM, team announced.

Dorsey, who had previously served as the Green Bay Packers' director of operations, is renowned league-wide for his scouting evaluations. He had been a member of the Packers organization—at varying capacities—for 20-plus years. He also briefly joined former Packers head coach Mike Holmgren and the Seattle Seahawks for a brief stint in 1999. 
Head coach Andy Reid worked with Dorsey from 1992 to 1998, when the Chiefs' new head coach was employed as an assistant coach in Green Bay. 
Kansas City will officially introduce Dorsey as its general manager on Monday afternoon.
