Karlos Williams Injury: Updates on Bills RB’s Concussion and Return

Rookie running back Karlos Williams filled in as the Buffalo Bills' starter in Week 4, but his status for Week 5 is in question after suffering an injury in Buffalo's loss to the New York Giants.

Williams Undergoing Concussion Protocol Tuesday, Oct. 6 According to Howard Simon of WGR 550 in Buffalo, Bills general manager Doug Whaley revealed Tuesday that Williams suffered a concussion against the G-Men, which will prompt the team to bring in some additional running backs for workouts.
The former Florida State standout stepped in for LeSean McCoy on Sunday, and although he had only 40 yards rushing on 18 carries, he did find the end zone for the fourth consecutive game.
Williams is currently a vital piece of the puzzle in Buffalo as McCoy is nursing a hamstring injury that could keep him out for the next three weeks, per Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports 1:
