Keanu Neal Injury: Updates on Falcons Safety’s Knee and Return

Atlanta Falcons rookie safety Keanu Neal suffered a knee injury Thursday and was ruled out for the remainder of his team's preseason game against the Miami Dolphins, per D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. 
It's unclear when he'll return to the field.

Latest on Neal's Playing Status Friday, Aug. 26 ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Neal will require surgery, and will miss the next three to four weeks. Ian Rapoport noted doctors would determine the extent of the damage during the scope, but added the ligaments were fine. 
On Thursday, Ledbetter noted Falcons coach Dan Quinn said on the NBC broadcast that the setback was "not a significant knee injury at this point."
