Kevin Kolb Is Ready, but Is Philly?

11 years.
11 years with McNabb under center.
11 years of ifs, wouldas, and almosts.
So now, after 11 years, Donovan McNabb has moved on. He's a Washington Redskin.
During his tenure, there was tons of questions from Philadelphia fans.
There were disagreements among Eagles rooters. Let him go? Keep him?
No doubt, McNabb had some great moments here. Heck, he was one of the top quarterbacks when he was at his best.
But he's gone.
Now, there are still questions.
And, of course, the biggie: Is Kolb ready?
And the big answer: Absolutely.
Drafted in the second round in 2007, Kolb waited eagerly for his chance. He made his debut in a 2008, mostly playing in blowouts. He looked anxious to me this year, throwing four picks and no touchdowns.
The next year, McNabb went down in the first game of the year against the Carolina Panthers. Kolb played the remainder of that game.
The very next week, Kolb got his big chance.
