Kevin Kolb Reportedly Injures Knee Slipping on Mat at Bills Training Camp

Quarterback Kevin Kolb signed with the Buffalo Bills this offseason in hopes of earning a starting job, but bad luck and frustration have followed him to Western New York as a freak injury could threaten his ability to beat out rookie E.J. Manuel for the team's top signal-caller spot.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Kolb injured himself at Bills training camp on Saturday by slipping on a wet mat.
The Associated Press elaborated on the circumstances surrounding the incident, as Kolb was reportedly running between fields when the injury occurred. Kolb didn't fall, but he twisted awkwardly and had trouble standing without the help of Bills head trainer Bud Carpenter.
Kolb was clearly frustrated by the situation, as he reportedly threw his helmet down in disgust. It's tough to blame Kolb for reacting that way since he has been dealt a tough hand at the NFL level.
