Ladarius Green Injury: Updates on Steelers TE’s Ankle and Return

Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Ladarius Green is dealing with an ankle injury at the start of training camp.

Green Placed on Physically Unable to Perform List Thursday, July 28 Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that Green's ankle ailment will force him to start training camp on the PUP list.
Losing Green for an extended time would be a blow to the Steelers’ depth in the passing attack. He was fairly durable the past three years and played in a combined 43 of 48 games during that span. He also posted a career-high four touchdowns last season for the San Diego Chargers as a dangerous red-zone threat at 6’6”, 240 pounds.
Still, he has dealt with various setbacks throughout his career, including concussions and ankle concerns.
