LB D’Qwell Jackson Injured Again: 2010 IDP Fantasy Football Impact

Browns inside linebacker D'Qwell Jackson was off to another strong IDP fantasy football season in 2009 until he suffered a torn pectoral muscle Week Six. At that point in time, Jackson was averaging close to 10 tackles a game which was the same pace he was on for the entire 2008 season.

In tackle heavy IDP leagues, Jackson was still a top ten fantasy option coming off his injury. Now, Jackson has had another pectoral issue, but on the other side of his body. At this time, Jackson is seeking a second opinion on the injury but his first diagnosis would put him out for four to eight weeks.
Unless better news comes along for Jackson, fantasy owners need to be conservative with this situation and expect him to miss at least eight weeks. If he came back after that time he would start playing again around the middle of October, and that would make plenty of time for you to use him ...
