Magic Number Eights: The Top NFL Wide Receivers

With so many big-name receivers being swapped around this offseason, this list got a little bit harder. There is a lot of talent at the receiver position, as it seems that the top receiver one year could be jobless the next. For example, the past few seasons we have seen players such as Steve Smith (Carolina), Chad Ochocinco, Torry Holt, Terrell Owens, Deion Branch, and Braylon Edwards free fall from the top of the list. As the years go by, it seems as though to be a consistently-elite receiver you must be tall and fast; not one of the two, but both. This could be the result as to why receivers have taken such a turn as the top in the game. Before i begin to rank them, I'd like to yet again throw out there that this is my own opinion as to the most valuable receivers in the game today.
