Marcell Dareus, Bills Agree to New Contract: Latest Details and Reaction

Marcell Dareus has developed into one of the NFL's premier defensive tackles, and the Buffalo Bills ensured Thursday they will retain his services for the foreseeable future.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the four-year veteran agreed to a six-year extension worth $108 million to remain one of the key figures on Buffalo's dominant defense.
Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports added the deal was worth a guaranteed $65 million, with a $25 million signing bonus, while Schefter said the contract had the most guaranteed money of any non-quarterback pact in league history.
Bills general manager Doug Whaley released a statement on the extension:
Buffalo selected Dareus, 25, with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2011 NFL draft out of the University of Alabama, and he entered the 2015 campaign as a two-time Pro Bowler and one-time All-Pro selection.
His 2014 performance was especially dominant, as he racked up 49 tackles and registered a career-high 10 sacks. ...
