Mark Sanchez Channels Rick Mirer, QB’s Struggles Are a Concern For Jets

I know it's preseason. I know teams don't show all of the "secret" plays that they are drawing up in the basement during offensive team meetings, but as Dan Deirdorf of CBS Sports always says about preseason games, "You can't play this game halfway." 
If the former is true then the Jets have a problem, and it is not named Darrelle Revis.
Its name is Mark Sanchez.
Sanchez hasn't exactly looked sharp this preseason. It began on his first pass when he was picked off by the Giants Antrel Rolle and has continued to get worse as August wore on. 
Against a bunch of unknowns in Carolina, a Panthers defense that will likely get ripped to shreds by Drew Brees of New Orleans and Matt Ryan of Atlanta later this year, made Sanchez look more like Rick Mirer. He was 5-of-10 for 51 yards, 0 TD's, 0 INT's, although he was this close to throwing up two in that game, not to mention he was sacked twice.
Then, last night ... what can you say? Outside of a late touchdown...
