Marques Colston: Why New Orleans Saints Would Be Wise to Rest Star Receiver

The New Orleans Saints have had a tough beginning to the season, having gotten out to a 0-2 start, but that's no reason to try to force Marques Colston onto the field this Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Per ESPN.com, Colston, who is battling a foot injury, is being listed as questionable for the Saints' Week 3 showdown. Colston was limited in practice on Friday.
Here's why the Saints would be better off resting Colston this week. 
 
Plenty of Other Options
Not only do the Saints have one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, but they also have a ton of options not named Marques Colston for Drew Brees to go to.
As far as receivers are concerned, Brees will have the option of going to Lance Moore, who racked up six catches for 120 yards and a touchdown in Week 1, proving he can be a No. 1 option if necessary.
