Matt Leinart To The Pittsburgh Steelers, Could This Be His Road To Success?

Many things were expected of Matt Leinart when he came out of USC and was taken as the tenth overall pick in the 2006 draft. Unfortunately for him things have not panned out as he expected.
Too much was expected of him and some players can not adjust to the NFL, especially when there is a lot of pressure on a player to make that adjustment.
Add on the fact that Leinart feels his being released had more to do with personal differences rather than his play on the field and you can begin to understand that maybe this was not the best environment for the guy to succeed.
Sometimes players do better when they have time to adjust without so much pressure being put on them.
One team that is really good at bringing young players along more slowly is the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Being put into a situation where he is clearly not going to be the starter, behind Ben Roethlisberger, could ease that pressure and allow Matt to develop into the player most expected he could become...
