About a week ago this time, the Matt Leinart era in Arizona began to seem bleak.
He wasn't convincing to his coaches and or teammates that he can lead this team now, or anytime of the future.
Combine that with his latest outburts to the media of being more deserving than Derek Anderson, who has passed up on the depth chart.
Now, it seems the Cardinals want to move on from the former USC product.
