Michael Bennett Injury: Seahawks DE Suffers Possible Concussion vs. Rams

The Seattle Seahawks beat the Los Angeles Rams 24-3 on Thursday, but the team announced defensive lineman Michael Bennett was evaluated for a potential concussion.
After the game, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said Bennett "wrenched his neck" but is ok, per John Boyle of the team's official website.
Bennett had been relatively healthy throughout his career, playing all 16 games in each of the last four seasons. This year has been harder, however, with the veteran missing time due to knee surgery and now suffering another ailment that could force him off the field.
When healthy, Bennett is one of the top defensive players in the entire NFL. He went to the Pro Bowl last season after totaling 10 sacks and 52 tackles.
Beyond the numbers, he has a key role with the Seahawks thanks to his versatility to play virtually anywhere on the defensive line. Frank Clark replaced him at defensive end last time, although even the second-year player knows he is a step down.
