Veteran quarterback Michael Vick is still in search of an NFL team for the 2015 season, and although there have been conversations, he has yet to find a new home.

Report: Jets, Vick Decide Against Reunion Wednesday, Aug. 12 With quarterback Geno Smith out for six to 10 weeks with a broken jaw, according to ESPN.com's Rich Cimini and Adam Schefter, the New York Jets discussed the possibility of signing Vick to serve as a backup to Ryan Fitzpatrick, according to NFL Network's Rand Getlin.
There is definite familiarity between the Jets and the 35-year-old veteran, as he spent the 2014 season in the Big Apple, but the two sides ultimately decided against joining forces once again, per Getlin.
New York is in a tough spot under center in the wake of Smith getting punched by IK Enemkpali, whom the team announced it has since released, but it was ultimately determined that Vick wasn't a good fit.
