Michael Vick’s Fate in the Hands Of NFL Commissioner…Again

Philadelphia Eagles backup quarterback Michael Vick can't seem to avoid trouble.
The latest controversy surrounding him? A shooting last week outside his birthday party that has NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell wondering if he made the right decision in reinstating the recently notorious quarterback.
According to reports, Vick voluntarily spoke with Virginia Beach police after a shooting occurred outside his 30th birthday party. Vick claims that he had left before the shooting broke out, and that he did not know the identity of the shooter.
All would be fine if this checked out, however the victim of the shooting was Quanis Phillips, a co-defendent in Vick's 2007 dog-fighting trial.
Vick's probation terms clearly state that he "may not associate with any person convicted of a felony, unless granted permission by parole officer."
