Michael Vick’s Redemption in Philadelphia

Who let the dogs out?  Micheal Vick should have, but he didn't.  He was sentenced to 23 months in federal prison.  He filed for bankruptcy and pretty much lost everything he had.
Except...
He never lost the need to fight.  Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love, calls, and offers $1.6 million contract.  With Donovan McNabb and Andy Reid he got to play again.  He might not have played a lot but he was playing.
Some people in Philadelphia are protesting against him, saying things like, "Vick's sick, he shouldn't be allowed to play."
Why?  Michael Vick went through the process.  He did his time, got out, and is now a productive citizen.
The reason, I think, people are still giving him hell about his past crimes, is because he is a high profile figure.  Even before his arrest he was a high profile figure and people loved him.  How many other dog fighters are in the country?
