Mike Pouncey Injury: Updates on Dolphins Center’s Hip and Return

Miami Dolphins center Mike Pouncey's injury woes continue, as the 27-year-old is dealing with an injured hip, according to Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post.

Pouncey Day-to-Day with Hip Issues Sunday, Aug. 21 Head coach Adam Gase confirmed to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald that Pouncey was out for the remainder of the preseason with the hip injury, with Schad adding that the coach said the starting center could miss the team's regular-season opener.
One of the NFL's best and most reliable centers early in his career, injuries have hampered Pouncey since 2013. He missed a total of eight games from 2013-15 after starting all 32 games in his first two seasons.
