Mike Tannenbaum Hired by Dolphins in Front Office Role: Latest Details, Reaction

Mike Tannenbaum spent last season as a consultant for the Miami Dolphins and, clearly, the team respected his input quite a bit. On Tuesday they reportedly made that admiration official, as he will serve as the team's executive vice president of football operations, per Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.   

The Dolphins confirmed the move via Twitter:
According to Mike Garafolo and Alex Marvez of Fox Sports, general manager Dennis Hickey will report to Tannenbaum in this new role. However, according to Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald, Joe Philbin is a different story altogether:
