Minnesota Vikings and Brett Favre Fall To the Patriots, Playoff Hopes Are Fading

Brett Favre was knocked out of Sunday’s game in the fourth quarter, and The Minnesota Vikings failed to take advantage of a Patriots team that was supposed to be a lot weaker than they played like on Sunday, and the Vikings’ hopes of a playoff berth are beginning to fade away at 2-5.
Favre later revealed he needed eight stitches in his chin after taking a serious hit from New England Patriots end Myron Pryor.
At 2-5, the Minnesota Vikings are literally one game away from having their promising season end in disappointment, with the rising competition level in the NFL.
Sunday’s game will either have to act as a final wake up call.
The Patriots entered yesterday’s game as one of the bottom-feeding defenses, while the Vikings were rated one of the best. But it was the New England Patriots that disrupted Brett Favre and company, put a lid on RB Adrian Peterson, while also torching a vaunted Minnesota Vikings defense for 125 yards and three scores...
