Monday Night Football: Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears Put on Comedy Show

Much has already been said about Green Bay Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy’s decision to stop the Chicago Bears for three straight plays before Robbie Gould kicked the game winning field goal.
The Bears blocked a Mason Crosby field goal attempt earlier in the game.
On Sunday, the Raiders’ Sebastian Janikowski and Saints’ Garrett Hartley missed game winning field goals.
There was a slight chance that Gould, one of the league’s most accurate kickers, was going to shank the easy kick.
Still, it was difficult to see happening.
It was more difficult to believe that the Packers would block the attempt.
As soon as the Bears were inside the 10 yard line, I said the Packers should just let the Bears score. With one time out, over one minute left and Aaron Rodgers, there was a better chance for the Packers to win than trying to force a turnover or blocking a field goal.
