Muhammad Wilkerson, Jets Agree to New Contract: Latest Details, Reaction

Muhammad Wilkerson has rapidly developed into one of the NFL's best defensive linemen, and now he has a contract to match.
The New York Jets announced they have signed the Pro Bowler to a five-year contract extension after franchising him in March. The Jets passed along a picture of Wilkerson inking his new deal:
Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reported the deal is worth $86 million over the five years, with $37 million guaranteed. According to Dan Graziano of ESPN, the contract includes a $15 million signing bonus, $36.75 million in guarantees and a $53.5 million injury guarantee. 
ESPN's Adam Schefter noted the contract is worth $54 million over the first three seasons. 
"I give my all every Sunday on the field and play with so much love and passion for the game," Wilkerson said on Twitter. "I'm thankful for everything that comes my way and proud to say I'm back on the green and white for a few more years."
