Mychal Kendricks Injury: Updates on Eagles LB’s Hamstring and Return

The Philadelphia Eagles are struggling to the tune of a 1-3 record, and the hits seemingly just keep coming as linebacker Mychal Kendricks is in danger of missing additional time due to an injury.

Report: Hamstring Injury May Keep Kendricks out in Week 5 Tuesday, Oct. 6 Kendricks played in Week 4 after missing Week 3 with a hamstring ailment, but it turns out he may have rushed back into the lineup too soon.
According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the 25-year-old linebacker reinjured his hamstring Sunday and may be a long shot to play in Week 5:
It was unclear for much of the week leading up to Week 4 if Kendricks would play, but head coach Chip Kelly felt as though he made progress since initially suffering the injury, per Eagles Insider.
As it turns out, Kelly may have been overly optimistic as Kendricks was forced to leave Philly's loss to the Washington Redskins early.
