New England Patriots Coaching Changes: UCF Coach Added, Others Promoted

February 18, 2011   ·     ·   Jump to comments

The New England Patriots made three moves Thursday by adding University of Central Florida's running back coach George Godsey and promoting Harold Nash and Brian Ferentz.
Godsey, who's been with UCF since 2004 will be joining the offensive staff and will bring collegiate experience. Godsey played quarterback at Georgia Tech and was coached by New England's offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien his senior season in 2001.
Nash will now serve as the team's strength and conditioning coach, as Mike Woicik left for Dallas.
And for Ferentz, he will be the team's new tight end coach.
Expect more coaching moves to be made by head coach Bill Belichick.
