The New England Patriots made one move Saturday and that was waiving recently signed defensive lineman Atiyyah Ellison.
Ellison was just signed Wednesday to a two-year contract; however the team decided to let him go.
Perhaps he was just brought in for another body to practice with for New England's bye week. Also, it could very well be a reason why Brandon Deaderick's team suspension was lifted.
The Patriots defensive line has been banged up lately, with Mike Wright and Ron Brace both being placed on injured reserve recently. They will need to have players step up for their next matchup next Sunday against the New York Jets.
The starters will likely be Vince Wilfork, Gerrard Warren and Myron Pryor.
