New England Patriots: What’s Wrong With Their Training Methods?

I hate to think of questioning Bill Belichick's ideology, methodology, or any other "ology" when it comes to football.  The man's forgotten more than I'll ever know, and has shown unbelievable moxie combined with his great intelligence.  That being said, I have a question for Bill:
Why are the Patriots consistently one of the most beaten-up teams in the league?
We get it, it's NFL football and people get hurt all the time.  The typical Patriots team is exceptionally so though; usually a M.A.S.H-up of the walking wounded combined with key guys out for long stretches (let's say 4 weeks equals a long stretch).  That's not something experienced by the rest of the league.
Now we enter the 2010 New England Patriots, whose theme song has quickly become Queens' "Another One Bites the Dust".
