New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons Among Top 10 in Latest ESPN.com Rankings

An embarrassing loss to the Cleveland Browns in Week 7 dropped the New Orleans Saints all the way to No. 14 in the ESPN.com rankings.
Nothing a signature win over the then-No. 1 Pittsburgh Steelers on Halloween couldn’t fix.
The Saints are back in the top 10 at No. 10 behind three other NFC teams in the Green Bay Packers (No. 8), New York Giants (No. 7) and Atlanta Falcons (No. 6).
The bye week was not kind to the Falcons, as both division rivals within striking distance, the 5-3 Saints and the 5-2 Tampa Bay Buccaneers (No. 14), both won in Week 8. The Falcons dropped one spot from No. 5 to No. 6, swapping spots with the Indianapolis Colts, who now hold the No. 5 slot.
The Falcons are the highest-ranked NFC team on the chart, and they host the Buccaneers Sunday at 1 p.m. EDT to determine who will have the inside track at the NFC South title at the halfway point.
Meanwhile, the Saints travel to Carolina to face the 31st-ranked Panthers (1-6), also at 1 p.m...
