New Orleans Saints Draft Picks 2010: A Quick Review

How sweet it is to be Super Bowl Champions!
Picking 32nd is about as good as it gets. It means you've won a championship. It also means that you have needs that are insignificant compared to every other team in the league. This all leads to an unbelievable flexibility and freedom to pick "the best player available".
Ultimately, that is what the Saints did this weekend. This article is not a comprehensive review or breakdown of each player selected (hopefully that will come over the next week, or whenever I'm done with school projects). Instead this is a brief article to simply send my props to Mickey Loomis, Sean Payton, and the rest of the New Orleans Saints personnel department.
I applaud them for overcoming the temptation to force a pick that was not of value. I appreciate their desire and effort to select players that add depth and make the roster younger at spots where competition is needed.
