New Orleans Saints: Monday Night Football Is About More Than A Playoff Spot

The New Orleans Saints are the defending NFC South and Super Bowl champions. 
They've won 10 games this year, which is never easy to do for a team coming off a Super Bowl victory, yet they've received little publicity or media attention. 
Drew Brees hasn't been as efficient as he was last year and the defense isn't causing nearly as many turnovers, but this football team is no joke. 
In fact, they are very much for real, but are still jockeying for the postseason. 
Their NFC South showdown in the Georgia Dome tonight against the Atlanta Falcons will be a fight to get a more advantageous playoff spot or even a chance at a consecutive division crown, but the game means much more than that for the Saints. 
The balanced Falcons squad has cruised to their 12-2 victory, and after they beat the Saints in the Super Bowl on September 26th in OT, New Orleans has taken the back seat to their upstart NFC South foes.
