New York Giants Hand Out One-Day Contracts to Favorite Wide Receivers

Two fan favorites were given one-day contracts by the New York Giants so they could retire as members of this great franchise.
David Tyree and Ike Hilliard.
Both players have fond memories of their playing days with the Giants and they were not afraid to talk about it.
Tyree had his "greatest memories" with the team and Hilliard said playing with the Giants was "more special to me than anything in my professional career."
David Tyree played five seasons with the Giants, mostly as a special teams specialist. His finest moment, however, is one Giants fans will never forget. It was "The Catch."
His 32-yard reception with Patriots safety Rodney Harrison hanging all over him in Super Bowl XLII has been called the best catch in Super Bowl history by some people. It allowed the Giants to keep a drive alive that eventually ended with Eli Manning connecting with Plaxico Burress for a game-winning touchdown.
