New York Giants Showing Compassion with Chad Jones

The New York Giants are showing the NFL what being a classy organization is all about.
With Chad Jones recovering from major surgery after a car accident in which he crashed his SUV into a pole that provides electricity to a streetcar track, several entities within the organization are keeping in contact with the third round draft pick.
Giants Director of Player Personnel Charles Way has been with the former LSU standout throughout the ordeal, and Jones has had phone conversations with coach Tom Coughlin, GM Jerry Reese, and head trainer Ronnie Barnes.
Thankfully, amputation of his foot will not be necessary. The doctors have indicated that there is significant blood flow to the foot now and that surgery was a complete success.
Jones has been removed from his breathing tubes for a couple of days now and is seriously talking about returning to football.
